Nature Interpretation Centre

Nature Interpretation Centre_Cabo Peñas, Asturias

The old building is completely renovated to house the Cabo Peñas Nature Interpretation Centre. Four concepts are used to design the new project: change, uncertainty, interpretation and translation.

The process of internal refurbishment is developed through an infiltration of the surroundings using the technique of the “collage”, overlapping layers of various textures: grass, wood and concrete. Those textures dissolve the old boundaries between interior and exterior.
