Park(e)ing. Pamplona cemetery accesses

Pedestrian access. It aims to solve the actual connection between the morgue and the cemetery with a new pedestrian bridge over the road.

Dissolution of the car presence. Through topographic manipulation is generated an acoustic barrier. Below it there will be an everyday parking spot. The resulting space surrounding the cemetery becomes more intimate and quite.

Park(e)ing. The aim is to reduce the visual impact of the large extension of asphalt, using precast “green” tiles in parking areas. This way the parking will be perceived as a large park, being used as parking spot only in special days like November First: ”All Saints ‘day”.

Shopping. The current situation of the cemetery stores is chaotic. They can be organized in a new volume parallel to the cemetery wall. It will allow the cemetery show a new façade to the park, lightening the old heavy stones wall presence.

River Front. The park will extend towards both sides of River Arga. New pedestrian and cycling paths across its banks and rhythmical bridges connecting them would result in an active landscape for the waterfront.
